Martin Daly - Chairman

Martin Daly was born and raised in Nelson, he knows first hand what it can be like for youngsters to get on the wrong side of the tracks. Having successfully rehabilitated himself from a negative lifestyle, twenty odd years on Martin is championing the cause to help make sure as few young people as possible head in a negative direction. Martin has been involved in community work now for well over twenty years. And he has been instrumental in the birthing and running of many youth programmes in the Nelson region over the past two decades.

Sarah Daly - Secretary

Sarah Daly has a real heart for young people, she has personally been involved with running youth programmes especially in the area of helping young people feel welcome and in follow-up care. Sarah holds a bachelors degree in health and is a registered nurse, she is also fantastic in the office and takes care of most of our admin needs.

Sharyn Rouse - Treasurer

Sharyn Rouse is a mother of three teenagers and has been an advocate for teenagers in the Nelson area now for over a decade, Sharyn has a strong desire to see young people benefit from the programmes, services and initiatives that we as a trust run.

Cathy Takiwa - Trustee

Cathy Takiwa is a highly successful career woman who owns her own importing business. She adds a professional edge to our organisation. And as a grandmother herself, she also fosters our core goals of helping the next generation.

Darren Casey - Trustee

Darren Casey is a successful entrepreneur running his own business which he has built from the ground up. Darren brings a “go get em” attitude to our organisation while at the same time having a real passion to see young people and the wider community benefited by our various initiatives and programmes.

Jodee Millman - Youth Worker

Jodee Millman has been involved in youth work since 1993 and has run many successful youth initiatives and programmes. He utilizes a professional yet caring and often humorous approach with young people that opens doors to him impacting and benefiting their lives with his youth working and counseling skills.

Kerri Bowman - Programme Coordinator

Kerri Bowman runs our Te Ora Ake programme and does a tremendous job pulling everything and everyone together to facilitate the children involved in the after school & holiday programme. She brings a tremendous amount of enthusiasm along with a heart to really see the children benefit from their involvement with what the Depot Nelson Trust has to offer.
