Just a quick update about our Te Ora Ake Programme. The programme is running well and has successfully completed its first term of the after school component. The holiday component is set to launch on the 7th of Jan and will run through to the 1st of Feb, providing an entertaining schedule of events ranging from caving through to cruising the Abel Tasman. The Te Ora Ake website has now been fully developed and is now available online at www.teoraake.org.nz the site contains news and information about the programme as well as an online events calendar and a programme registration form. Since the inception of the programm, we have seen steady growth of registrants and have had to hire more staff to cope with the demand. We would like to welcome Megan Wright and Josh van der Schaff to the team and also would also like to farewell Catherine Pearce who has moved on. Catherine has worked hard in putting the programme schedule together and in the initial facilitation of the programme. Thank you Catherine for everything and we wish you well with your new projects and challenges.
