It gives us great pleasure to report that our Te Ora Ake programmes are running so well that they are nearly bursting at the seems with over 45 young people enrolled on the weekly programme. And another 40 enrolled for the Holiday programme. Kerri has done such a great job in building up the two programmes that we are now faced with another challenge of splitting the two programmes in half, giving us two age groups. One being 5-8yrs and the other being 9-13yrs.

 

There is still limited room for enrolment on both of the programmes, however once we have accomplished the split, Te Ora Ake will we be set to continue its phenomenal growth. One of the road blocks challenging us is the constant need for funding. Our thanks goes out to the OSCAR Foundation for their fantastic support. We are looking forward to continuing the growth of this project, which is a source of support to so many families in the Nelson region.
