On behalf of The Depot Nelson Trust I want to say 'Thank you' to all those who made 2010 the full and exciting year that it was.

 

With the 'Bliss - teenage girl mentoring programme' in full swing and seeing so many teenage girls blossoming because of their involvement in the programme. As a parent of teens myself through 2010, it thrills my heart to see this age group assisted and helped so positively.

 

Also Te Ora Ake had another great year, growing from strength to strength, with the numbers up around fifty plus children on the Teina [Junior] and Tukana [Senior] after school and holiday programmes. A huge thanks goes to Kerri Bowman, who has done a great job growing the programmes to this level. Toward the end of the year Kerri has moved from being programme coordinator to becoming supervisor of the Tukana programmes.

 

To all our staff, a huge thank you for working so tirelessly and fruitfully, inputting into the lives of so many in the community of Nelson.
